  20. Is it feasable to travel about in the northern regions of Thailand
  21. on your own if you do not speak or read Thai?  Is it a good idea?
  22. IE: Bangkok to Chaing Mai, Nong Kai.

  24. How is travel by car and train in these regions for non-Thai-speaking people?

  26. I have not found anyone who has traveled these parts independently, (not
  27. as part of a tour) and would appreciate any firsthand info in this regard.
