  23. We spent 10 days with a 2 year old last year in the Keys.
  24. Bahia Honda State Park is the only island with natural sand
  25. beaches. They are only crowded on the weekend. At low tide
  26. there is a sandbar with water about 6 - 12" deep on the 
  27. south end of the Island. Great for our kid, he could run 
  28. around in the water, without us worrying.
  29. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin in the park. Very convienent
  30. but pricy, and not that nice. Big Pine Key and Marathon
  31. are both close by. They're are many houses you can rent
  32. on Big Pine, and some 50's style hotels on Marathon with
  33. kitchens. We spent almost all our time at Bahia Honda.
