- We spent 10 days with a 2 year old last year in the Keys.
- Bahia Honda State Park is the only island with natural sand
- beaches. They are only crowded on the weekend. At low tide
- there is a sandbar with water about 6 - 12" deep on the
- south end of the Island. Great for our kid, he could run
- around in the water, without us worrying.
- We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin in the park. Very convienent
- but pricy, and not that nice. Big Pine Key and Marathon
- are both close by. They're are many houses you can rent
- on Big Pine, and some 50's style hotels on Marathon with
- kitchens. We spent almost all our time at Bahia Honda.
