  12. I would like info from anyone who travelled on the Karakorum Highway
  13. between Urumqi, China and Islamabad, Pakistan in the summer of 1992.
  14. I have the Lonely Planet Guides dealing with the areas (China,
  15. Pakistan, and The Karakorum Highway) but I would like to brought up
  16. to date on the transportation situation (i.e. the problems obtaining
  17. tickets in Urumqi and Kashgar), border formalities, costs and even
  18. more generally what you would do again or not do again in hindsight.
