  17. We also honeymooned in Sandals Ocho Rios, and had a Blast!!  We were
  18. there this past April.  I can't say what the weather would be like
  19. in August, but I'd imagine that it would be HOT!!

  21. I will agree with the other poster who went to Ocho Rios that it is
  22. a great deal, and a nice place.  The staff were very friendly and 
  23. many make an attempt to know your name.  I was surprised how great
  24. the service and food was.   (The maid made up our room twice a day.) 
  25. The atmosphere is very relaxed and tropical.   There is something
  26. there for everyone to enjoy, wether it be windsurfing (which I did
  27. a lot of!),  sun bathing, drinking, eating or game playing.  They had
  28. a couple of pools with swim up bars, but their actual beach area
  29. is not as big as Negril's, I imagine.  When they built Sandals Ocho Rios, they
  30. did their best not to remove any trees, keeping the lushness in tact.
  31. You will see an occassional roof cut into to make way for a tall palm tree.

  33. I was surprised at the variety of the clientele who went to Sandals.  
  34. We met lots of couples who were married on the same day as us.  There
  35. were also groups of couples who came down together.   Most everyone was
  36. in their 20's, but some older folks as well.
