-
- here's last night's results from scotland if anyone is interested.....
-
- FIRST DIVISION:
-
- AYR UNITED 2 STIRLING ALBION 2
- traynor 38 watters 8
- mair 61 pew 27
-
- Stirling miss a great chance in their fight against relegation by surrendering
- a two goal lead at somerset park. Willie Watters and Dave Pew had them 2 up
- after half an hour but traynor and mair brought things level. Stirling still in
- deep shit second bottom of the first division.
-
- RAITH ROVERS 4 CLYDEBANK 2
- crawford 6 wilson 26
- thomson 23 eadie 61
- dalziel 77
- brewster 89
-
- Raith avenged their horrendous 0-3 gubbing at kilbowie a few weeks ago with a
- convincing win at starks park against the bankies. It was 2-0 with goals from
- steve crawford and ian thomson but kev wilson and ken eadie levelled the match.
- it took two late goals from the prolific dalziel and brewster to give raith
- victory and put the 7 points clear of kilmarnock at the top of the division.
-
- SECOND DIVISION
-
- ALLOA 3 MONTROSE 0
- moffat 8
- ? 81,81
-
- Another day, another gubbing for montrose. Moffat scored in the 8th minute, but
- montrose held out until the last ten when alloa got two more
-
- EAST FIFE 1 CLYDE 1
- ? 48 strain 26
-
- Clyde let the chance to go clear second slip when east fife equalised a first
- half goal from barry strain.
-
- FORFAR 2 QUEENS PARK 0
- bingham 53
- winter 84pen
-
- Forfars excellent run of form of late continued at station park with a win over
- the near bottom of the table queens park. Forfar missed a few chances in the
- first half but young new signing dave bingham scored soon after half time, and
- gordon winter converted an 84th minute penalty to make sure of victory. I think
- this keeps forfar in 5th place
-
- STENHOUSEMUIR 1 QUEEN OF THE SOUTH 1
- ? ? 53
-
- Sorry i don't know the scorers here, but the result keeps the teams mid table
-
- the other game was postponed...
-
- and tonight....it's partick thistle v dundee...
-
- Partick have leigh palin out through injury after their success over airdrie in
- the tennents sixes, dundee have dinnie and super simon out through suspension.
- If dundee win then we go above thistle on goal difference into 8th place.
- Partick have suffered really badly since the 0-7 v the sheepies, with only a
- handful of points since then. Dundee have won both their games so far this
- year. So it should be a good match.
-
- oh yeah, and my prediction is 2-1 to dundee....
