  20. If English football is inferior to European, then o.k.  But there are a lot of
  21. people who are interested in it.  Why do you think that people only care about
  22. the exact football that *you* do?  It seems [to me at least] that you dislike
  23. English football so much that you don't want to see any of it.

  25. Of course I care more about French football than any other, but that does not
  26. mean that I don't read any of the articles about other countries.  I don't
  27. read the silly things that are about Scotland and sheep [not that I would
  28. understand it anyway :-) ] but I do read the results for the Scottish teams.
  29. If English football annoys you this much, then don't read it.  "nn" makes this
  30. easy.  [If you don't have "nn" then I'm sorry -- "rn" stinks!]  There are a lot
  31. of people who care about the game of football more than the game of football in
  32. just one country.

  34. If you are so serious about having an English [or British, I don't know if you
  35. dislike Scottish, Welsh, and Irish football] newsgroup, then why don't you
  36. assemble the proposal and CFV?  Have a vote, and then we can see.  But I don't
  37. think that we will see this split.
