As a quick aside do you think it fair to tie young players such as Drunky to
contracts of such length?

Methinks the reason if any would be purely financial, that's why.  It's
certainly not for a footballing reason - perhaps transfers from Utd. are the
reason why the club are rebuildin  without throwing themselves into huge debts
- perhaps not, maybe Uniteds main source of income is McLean's wise investments
on the "one from each section" on the Ladbroke coupon of a Saturday - it's
certainly not through crowds alone.

Like them or not agents are here and to the extent that players these days get
better deals all round is no bad thing for them, after all they have a limited
career, especially if they're tied to some provincial club for ten years at the
outset.

Now if this news broke on Friday night and the SFA get the weekend off from
such matters and considering that a proper investidation might take some time I
think you're being a wee bit unfair on them putting the boot in at such an
ealry stage.

Well, at the risk of being a tad provocative here why don't you use them.  Give
us Drunky's bank statement, give us his declared (and undeclared) sources of
income and tell me how you can call The Bears "Pansy" and then go on to
crticise them as "dirty wee shite's" (choice term) and "heidcase fae england"
and "dirty buggers" (even more stylish!).

Now you've spoken to the United board about this have you.  If Drunky's still
at Tannadice (and not in prison) by the end of 1998 I'll learn the flute. And
also do you really have to swear so much - this is an international thing,
don't bring your country down with yourself.

Didn't Rangers recently purchase a certian bright Aberdeen starlet for a
certain fullback position or a certain Hibernian (ahem) to place in the firing
line that is the goal-mouth.  Both sides being as big, if not bigger than DUFC.
Can't think at all why they never went for young Kev.  I'd guess he just wasn't
good enough.

McCoist, Alistair (F) : Has been centre forward with scunneringly bad
disciplinary record, currently Euro. golden boot and on course to repeat
performance which is no bad for a player who's halcyon days were at Muirton
Park.  Known affectionately as Sally because he's a Pansy.

I disagree, Scottish referees are biased against Celtic and Airdrie.

Tell me, being a wee boy from the sticks and unaware of what happens in big
cities like Dundee.  Is the average attendance at Tannadice the same now as it
was in the days of Euro. success?  Admittedly the Rangers situation is extreme
as has been oft times discussed but get out these facts and support your own
team with them, show us loyalty - what was the crowd for the visit of Falkirk
on Saturday.

Methinks they're doing not bad where they are now, can't really see Hibs,
Sunderland, St. Johnstone or indeed Oldham enjoying the run Rangers are
currently experiancing in the playing lifetimes of these players nor indeed the
players enjoying the same standard of living.

As for St. Mirren.

I use the term all the time so maybe that makes me a bigot also but to launch
into a criticism of the "minority" (ahem) is unfair in a piece on Drunky -
looking at it maybe he'd fit in with the fans you describe.

Oh aye, so what about the time United have spent rearing him and polishing him
off and bailing him out - who's going to benefit from this?  This must rank
with my plan to buy Mo. back off Rangers and place him on the subs bench in the
reserve team week in week out for stupidity - having said that it might have
pleased some people, viz. a viz. the Celtic AND Rangers' *minorities*.

If you are going to put the boot into The Huns will you please do it properly!
