Actually guys, what I'm trying to get across is that the USSF is stupid to
attempt to stage this friendly on a day where (sweeping generalization coming) most Americans will be tuned in to that ugly spectacle, the Super Bowl of American Football. Hell, I'd rather watch Faeroe Islands play Vatican City (American attempt at British Humor, so watch the flames) in a friendly, in a drivi
ng sleetstorm, then watch 22 men in tight pants grunt, hit each other, get a shot off the oxygen tank, and then repeat the process. What I'm trying to say is that Soccer/football will never have any respect (from the media) in this country if it does not get TV coverage. I want the game to thrive. Just don't set things up for a failure, exposure wise. The US might, and probably will get beat in that match. However, it would be nice to see it set up as an informative deal for the rest middle class amer
ica that wants more scoring and beer. Get the exposure, and then people will realize that the game is actually popular in this country.
