  11. For what it's worth, John Williams was recently (last week?) replaced as  
  12. Springbok coach by Gerrie Sonnekus.  Johan Heunis (ex-Northern Transvaal  
  13. full-back) is assistant coach.  Both held those positions in the Orange Free  
  14. State last year.

  16. Sonnekus is, I believe, the only player ever to play both in the pack (eighth  
  17. man) and at the back (scrum-half I think) in a Springbok team.  Can't remember  
  18. for which provincial team Sonnekus played - Free State?
