- Hey! I LIKE the Cow Palace! It's a fun place to watch a game. It's
- small...there are NO really bad seats. The corners are great...you can
- see the entire ice surface right in front of you, yet you're not so far
- away that the players look like fleas. Lots and lots of parking, and
- it's easy to get to...especially from the East Bay.
-
- The new arena will be HUGE (18000 seats), but last I heard, they're
- only planning to have 2400 parking spaces. You can't get there from
- the East Bay using public transportation...you almost have to drive,
- and if you can't squeeze into the parking lot, kiss your car goodbye.
-
- Of course, if Oakland had got the team as originally planned (before
- they decided they'd rather have the Raiders back...HA!), that would
- have been ideal. The Coliseum isn't a bad place to watch a game,
- although I've heard the ice isn't always up to scratch.
-
- >Of course, they *do* have to name it first...
-
- "The Epicenter". I don't care what the official name is...the arena
- will be called "The Epicenter".
-
- have fun
