  23. As for Roenich being a cheap shot hacker.  Well maybe he is.  BUT I want anyone of you
  24. to come up with a player who is ALSO as fast; as prolific at scoring; and as physical as
  25. Roenick.

  27. I have nothing against the Great One, or Yzerman, or Bure, or Selenne (sp??).  But during the
  28. past few months EVERY one of them has been involved in a conversation about needing protection.
  29. Especially Teemu.  Why else did the Jets trade for King and Domi.  TO PROTECT TEEMU.  Well, I
  30. would rather have another goal scorer than a warm body on my bench.  Domi can play, and so
  31. can King.  But lets face it...there main purpose is to keep Selenne from gettting POUNDED.

  33. Roenick DOESN'T need anyone to protect him.  In fact he gets insulted if his team comes to
  34. HIS rescue.  I dishes the hits and HE takes them.  He doesn't cry about it.

  36. As far as the Jets game went last week.....you Jets fan obviously are seriously deficient in
  37. major comprehension skills. (actually there is no insults intended).  BUT Winnipeg ALSO played
  38. a very physical game.   AS DO ALL TEAMS THAT PLAY THE HAWKS.  Just look around.  There is no
  39. team in the league that will come into Chicago Stadium without a tougher lineup.  ITS EXPECTED...

  41. Yet I never see Roenick crying.

  43. ANOTHER EXAMPLE:  He was given a game misconduct for Slashing a Vancouver player yesterday   
  44. (Bure I believe).  BUT after watching the reply...it turned out HIS OWN player slashing him.

  46. Roenick got a game misconduct on a TRUELY lously miscall.  As for Chelios being a rotten
  47. player...he IS no worse then Ulf...or Wendell Clark...or Phil Housely....

  49. I wouldn't trade ANY of Chelios points for fewer penalties.  AND not to mention EVERYBODY knows
  50. that Chelios has a short fuse.  If he gets hit with a cheap shot HE ALWAYS retaliates. 
  51. Other teams know this...They hit chelios in the first few minutes of play in EVERY game. 
  52. Nothing the odds of getting a power-play out of it are about 90%.
