- 2nd round pick, not 4th. That pick was used to select Nicolas Perreault, who
- is now one of the best defencemen in NCAA college hockey. (Michigan State).
- He has been compared to Kevin Hatcher of Washington. Short term, there is no
- question that this deal favors the Pens. Long term, we'll see. Perreault will
- be in the NHL long after Mullen has hung up the blades.
-
- I see people condemning the Lindros trade already as being bad for Philly. How
- do we know that Forsberg will be everything in the NHL that he is in Sweden?
- How do we know that Lindros' injury problems/bad attitude/off-ice troubles will
- cause him to fall short of expectations? We don't know that. Nobody can see the
- future. Passing judgement on any trade before all parties have had a chance to
- prove what they can do is ridiculous.
