  39. Taking this thing a bit further (hey, it was a boring lunch hour), here's the 
  40. summary from all players listed in the '92-'93 guide from each team's roster 
  41. (disclaimer: I made no effort to choose only those players in the NHL-- the 
  42. guide lists about 50 players from each team, including a half a dozen or more 
  43. goalies)

  45. Breaking down by position:

  47. Forwards:  left: 479  right: 334  58.92% left
  48. Defence:   left: 273  right: 152  64.24% left
  49. Goalies:   left: 128  right:  15  89.51% left (*catches left)
  50. Total:     left: 870  right: 501  66.87% left

  52. Removing the goalies:
  53. Shooters:  left: 752  right: 486  61.07% left
  54.  
  55. And, from my earlier post on the top 100 point-getters:
