  13. Does anyone know why the insulator on foil wire is cotton?  I found some 
  14. plastic coated wire of the proper gauge, and have rewired 3 blades with it.
  15. So far this wire has proved to be far superior to the standard cotton 
  16. insulated wire.

  18. Is there any reason that foil wires sold as such are cotton insulated, or is 
  19. it just because it's cheaper?
