- Does anyone know why the insulator on foil wire is cotton? I found some
- plastic coated wire of the proper gauge, and have rewired 3 blades with it.
- So far this wire has proved to be far superior to the standard cotton
- insulated wire.
-
- Is there any reason that foil wires sold as such are cotton insulated, or is
- it just because it's cheaper?
