  28. Just out of interest, the fastest first-class century was by David Hookes
  29. against Victoria. He took 34 balls to do it. He was annoyed that the opposition
  30. captain, Graham Yallop didn't declare until very late, so he went and opened
  31. the innings. He hit the first ball of the innings for six, and went from there.
  32. His fifty took 17 balls. Must have been a pretty phenomenal knock.

  34. I think Simon O'Donnell scored 50 off 18 balls in the '87 World Cup against
  35. someone. India perhaps. Could someone confirm this. Also, does anyone else know
  36. of any fast scoring knocks similar to the above ??
