- The Sharma in is Ajay Sharma, middle-order batsman from Delhi who had a couple
- of good innings against England for Delhi and Board President's XI. Chetan
- Sharma is out of the squad.

- Amre, Tendulkar, Kambli, and Azharuddin are sure to occupy spots 3-6 in the
- batting order (I hope in that order; of the 4, Amre is best suited to the
- 3 spot), and Kapil, Srinath, Prabhakar, Kumble, and More are all almost
- certain to play. Probably Sidhu as well, given his recent form. That leaves
- a choice between Raman and a bowler (Raju ?) for the last spot.
