  23. About 5 or 6 years ago, a guy named Alfredrick Hughes played at Loyola-Chicago,
  24. and developed quite a reputation for taking the shot.  I believe he ended up
  25. on the NCAA top 10 all-time scoring list.  Anyway, Sports Illustrated had a
  26. story about him, and they mentioned a fan who held up a sign that said, "Save
  27. Loyola Basketball--Shoot Alfredrick Hughes."

  29. My all-time favorite sign was a Duke product (naturally).  UVa center Olden
  30. Polynice was brought up on honor charges for copying another student's work
  31. and turning it in as his own.  The whole honor trial process is supposed to
  32. be secret, but somebody leaked it to the Washington Post.  UVa played at
  33. Duke a few weeks later, and a sign was briefly visible:  "UVa/Oldyn Polynice:
  34. Team Xerox."
