- We will see if this years team is as good as the 84 team but I will tell
- you right now that UNC will not go undefeated in the ACC. They still
- have 5 very tough games with UVA, Ga Teach, Wake, Duke and FSU. If
- we win 3 and then all of our home games, I myself will be very happy.
-
- As far as UNC being "a tip in away from being undefeated", lets remember
- that had UNC beaten Michigan they still would have beaten Kansas, not
- Hawaii. That is by no means a given. UNC is also still have much
- trouble with their half-court offense. If Reese and Williams don't
- start contributing then opposing defenses will collapse even more
- into the lane. Right now UNC is getting ~20-30 points a game
- off of turnovers. If a team with a good point guard (like Duke)
- takes care of the ball and does not get rattled by UNC's D then
- UNC will find itself in serious trouble. I think that both Reese
- and Williams will get started soon, but I still think 16-0 is
- a bit unrealistic to expect.
