  11. Well, it's amazing what a difference a week makes.  After I praise Arkansas
  12. and LSU and banish Auburn, now Auburn has revived and is once again a threat.
  13. I misspoke last week when I said LSU beat Auburn at Auburn.  Upon further
  14. review, my "Dick Vitale" conf. schedules says the game was at LSU.  Anyway,
  15. here are the "Real standings" of the SEC as of today.

  23. Thus, you can see that the West is still a dog fight, with Auburn playing
  24. better and Arkansas in a mini-slump, while in the East, Kentucky has already
  25. picked up 3 road wins, and Vandy still has to prove they belong.

  27. KEY GAMES THIS WEEK
  28. Jan. 27 Vandy at UT, Auburn at Alabama, and Arkansas at MIss. St.
  29. Jan. 30 Florida at Kentucky, Vandy at Auburn
  30.  
  31. This week will show whether either Vandy or Florida has what it takes to
  32. challenge Kentucky in the East, while in the West, more jousting for position
  33. will occur.

  35. I don't consider LSU-Kentucky a key game unless you're betting against the
  36. point spread.  After all, LSU couldn't beat the sixth best team in the ACC
  37. :)
