  18. Why is it too many?  Shorten the regular season (which would probably
  19. be a good thing anyways) and there is plenty of room for three-plus
  20. weeks of playoffs.  Of course, you might have to get rid of some of
  21. the travel days.  But there are worse things that could happen.

  26. Oh?  This would be *dreadful*.  A seven game series is chancy enough.
  27. You expect the weaker team to often slip by.  But a best-of-three
  28. series???  It would make far more sense to play a three game world
  29. series and seven games in the first round.  At least make teams *earn*
  30. the chance to play in the championship round.
