  12. I have the opportunity to buy some brand new (unmounted) Karhu Kodiaks
  13. and I'm wondering if anyone out there has any opinions on them. I
  14. don't want to do any lift-served tele at the moment but the urge could
  15. arise the in future. I mostly want to do out of track touring which
  16. could include some significant downhill sections - does it make sense
  17. to think I could telemark or make some parallel turns on these boards?
  18. I like having a waxless base but I'm concerned that not having full
  19. length edges could really hamper the performance of the skis. Oh, I
  20. could also want to do some real back country touring (if that's any
  21. different than out of track touring)...

  23. Does anyone have suggestions for bindings and boots. I'm intrigued by
  24. the latest NNN-BC stuff but am also strongly considering three-pin
  25. bindings with Voile plates. Anything else I should think of???
