- I have the opportunity to buy some brand new (unmounted) Karhu Kodiaks
- and I'm wondering if anyone out there has any opinions on them. I
- don't want to do any lift-served tele at the moment but the urge could
- arise the in future. I mostly want to do out of track touring which
- could include some significant downhill sections - does it make sense
- to think I could telemark or make some parallel turns on these boards?
- I like having a waxless base but I'm concerned that not having full
- length edges could really hamper the performance of the skis. Oh, I
- could also want to do some real back country touring (if that's any
- different than out of track touring)...
-
- Does anyone have suggestions for bindings and boots. I'm intrigued by
- the latest NNN-BC stuff but am also strongly considering three-pin
- bindings with Voile plates. Anything else I should think of???
-
- Thanks a bunch!
