- In Chuck Yeager's autobiography, he mentions fogging problems on the
- X-1's canopy. Apparently the air force supplied a $1000-per-bottle
- anti-fog solution, but his crew chief used some ordinary drug-store
- commodity with much better results. Possibly a thin (thus transparent)
- layer of shampoo? I don't remember exactly. But its in that book.
