  11. Unless you take a skid school course (which most of us haven't), the first
  12. thing you should do when you start skidding is "hide your foot".
  13. The biggest problem with people in a skid is panic. If you hit the
  14. brakestoo hard, you lose total control. If you hit the gas too hard,
  15. you're going to kill someone.

  17. If you have taken a skid school course, then there are probably many more
  18. things to do, but for the average Joe/Jill, Hide Your Foot, and turn the
  19. wheel LIGHTLY in the direction your back end is going. DONT PANIC !
