- I was just reading a recent Ski Canada article about Mont-Ste-Anne,
- Quebec, which stated that the mountain "boasts the highest snow
- retention factor of *any* Eastern resort: 33.1%, compared to 4% for New
- England areas."

- What does this mean? The article says it refers to the "amount (of
- snow) remaining after a snowfall", but I find it hard to believe that
- 96% of the snow that falls on Vermont melts the same day.
