- Actually, some of the alpine skis made by Kazama are foam
- core---however, *none* of their tele skis are.

- The Evolution skis are definitely foam core.

- I've heard some good things about the Fischers, but I've heard more
- good things about the Kazama Outback TM's and Tua Cirques. I bought
- my pair of Kazamas last year and I've been very pleased. I feel
- certain they'd be a fine backcountry ski---although I've not yet tried
- them there. I demoed a pair of Kazama Couloir's this year and I liked
- them quite a bit, but they seemed to me to be a little heavier and a
- little stiffer in the tail than the O-TM's. My feeling at the time
- was that they were probably aimed at in-area tele skiers.
