- |So the avalanche course was fun, but the snow conditions were too
- |stable. We dug an 8' pit and found 8' of solid hard-pack snow with
- |no slip planes. We didn't dig the other 6' necessary to reach the
- |ground. So we focused on sking. The rains caused lots of cancellations,
- |so there were two students and one instructor ( David Beck ).

- |Anyway, are you interested in Mexican Seafood sometime this week? Either
- |Thursday or Friday night are good for us.
