  16. For anyone skiing next week the conditions should be reasonable.  It snowed
  17. above 1200m. on Monday in the French Alpes and Jura.  Today (Wednesday) it
  18. was snowing above 500m. in the Jura, French Alpes and Massif Central.  Snow
  19. was also forecast today for the Austrian Alpes.  Further snow is forecast at
  20. the end of the week.

  22. This is too little snow to help the lower (sub 2000m. resorts) much in France
  23. but there should be good skiing at places like Val d'Isere, Tignes, La Plagne.

  25. The last snow at these altitudes was on the 12/Dec, so as Jeff says the conditions are starting from bad.
