- I the warm half of the year, it is a 4.5 to 5 hour drive via Sonora
- Pass. That pass is closed now. If all roads are open, my next choice
- would be CA 88 over Carson pass to CA 89, then 89 via Markleeville to
- 395. That run should be 5 to 6 hours when dry, depending on how
- aggressive you are behind the wheel. Add 1/2 to 1 1/2 hours for snow on
- the roads.
