  13.    Has anyone tried Fischer's new skating ski that only comes in 147cm length?
  14. On the rack it appears snappier and stiffer than other short (165cm) skating  
  15. skis. I have swiped my girlfriends short skaters the odd time and really like  
  16. them for long or very steep climbs and narrow trails but I am too heavy for  
  17. them to hold up for long. The Fisher seems well made and durable. The down side  
  18. is that its companion model for traditional  style is a no wax "fun" ski. I  
  19. don't know if the skate is in the same catagory as the traditional model or is  
  20. it a serious ski.
