- Has anyone tried Fischer's new skating ski that only comes in 147cm length?
- On the rack it appears snappier and stiffer than other short (165cm) skating
- skis. I have swiped my girlfriends short skaters the odd time and really like
- them for long or very steep climbs and narrow trails but I am too heavy for
- them to hold up for long. The Fisher seems well made and durable. The down side
- is that its companion model for traditional style is a no wax "fun" ski. I
- don't know if the skate is in the same catagory as the traditional model or is
- it a serious ski.
