- Hey, lighten up a little. The guy also asked for opinions of the place, all
- you offered was critisizm. I'm sure this person is looking forward to his ski
- vacation.

- William,
- I think Steamboat is one of Colorado's nicer ski areas. The only fault
- I would have with it is it's lack of wide open greens for the less
- experienced skiers. They have some of the most challanging black diamond, and
- some of the niftiest cruising blues anywhere. Billy Kid often makes
- appearances at noon. The Nastar course is one of the toughest. The town
- itself is a lot less snooty than either Vail, or Aspen. In March the snow
- will most likley be in the 200 - 300 inch total snowfall range. I'm not sure
- what that amounts to in base, but I am sure that you'll have plenty of snow
- to ski on. They seem to have lifts everywhere. Everywhere you turn there is
- a lift. You won't find many deals on ski lifts other than what the ski area
- itself offers in multiple day tickets. I hope you enjoy your stay at
- Steamboat.
