- We were at Alpine Meadows on Saturday(the 23rd) and
- that was pretty full - lift lines often 10 minutes -
- and not good conditions either. Northstar on Sunday
- (the 24th) had much better conditions (though nowhere
- near as good as the previous weekend) and similar lift lines.
- This past weekend was basically the first since all the
- snows which has had clear skies so the Tahoe area was
- jammed. It was bumper-bumper on I-80 westbound late
- yesterday afternoon from Truckee for many miles.
- If the jet stream stays north and the high pressure
- continues the Tahoe area will likely get jammed every
- weekend. I heard Incline had relatively good snow -
- can anybody confirm?
