- This is just too ridiculous. If you look at the accident statistics for
- skiing, it's somewhere between volleyball and table tennis. Why are we
- talking about "a solution" when there isn't even a problem? If you're a
- paranoid hypochondriac, then go ahead and wear a helmet, but I for one
- refuse to have my vision and hearing obstructed by a safety device designed for
- people who go straight down empty mountains at very high speeds, this is like
- wearing a seatbelt when riding a motorcycle.
