  40. This is just too ridiculous.  If you look at the accident statistics for
  41. skiing, it's somewhere between volleyball and table tennis.  Why are we 
  42. talking about "a solution" when there isn't even a problem?  If you're a
  43. paranoid hypochondriac, then go ahead and wear a helmet, but I for one
  44. refuse to have my vision and hearing obstructed by a safety device designed for
  45. people who go straight down empty mountains at very high speeds, this is like
  46. wearing a seatbelt when riding a motorcycle.
