  28. We went to the island in August 1992 and had a great time at the Casa Del Mar
  29. and dived exclusively with Del Mar Aquatics. The hotel was clean, and the folks
  30. who ran it friendly and used to the ways of gringos on dive trips. We had
  31. absolutely no complaints about the hotel or its service. We usually dived in
  32. the morning from Del Mar. The divemaster we had was very friendly, tried to
  33. figure out where you had been and where you wanted to go that day. They
  34. provided you with Coke after dives. The boat was fast enough that the furthest
  35. dive sites on the island were about 35 minutes away. We left at 8 and returned
  36. at noon,after 2 dives,  just in time to spend the day ordering Corona from the
  37. pool bar. We took a taxi into town at night for about $7 one way, and never
  38. felt like we missed anything being on the outskirts of town. Del Mar is to the
  39. south of town, (most of the diving is south), and is right across the street
  40. from the hotel.The airplane dive is right there, down the shore a bit and is
  41. great for your checkout dive.

  43.  The next time we go to Cozumel, it'll probably be to the same hotel and dive
  44. shop. I've only  good memories about the last trip. Make sure you do a night
  45. dive or two, but watch those currents! They change from hour to hour.
