  11. As the newly appointed district finance chairman I am looking to both obtain 
  12. information and promote discussion among those of you with similar 
  13. responsibilities.  Don't all jump at once!  -:)
  14.  
  15. I'm only 1 week into the job and I have no great worries - we have a well run
  16. district.  In fact, all of the fundraisers are in place and running 
  17. except for a chairman for the district dinner.  
  18.  
  19. One of the problems I see is in the area of continuity and long term planning
  20.  - specificly in the areas of goals and personnel (future chairman, etc).  
  21. For example, the chairman should have been recruited by at least November last
  22. year.  HA.

  24. Anyway, my goal is by the end of the spring fundraising season to identify 
  25. 2-3 cantidates for each fundraising project for the next year.  If possible
  26. of course obtain firm commitments.  Has anyone had success along those lines?
  27. And any words of wisdom for this neophyte chaimain?

  29. There's a wide range of topics we could discuss.  Someone take a stab at 
  30. the next one.
