  21. Yeah, the SP still runs lots of SD9's and GP9's ... I believe all of them
  22. have be "remanufactured" at least once.  However, I think most of the "metal"
  23. is original, save for engine parts that wear out, wiring, etc.  I have
  24. become so used to seeing these units on SP that I easily forget how old
  25. they are and how unique it is see such units in daily service.  Apparently
  26. there is an effort to steadily get rid of these older units, so we better
  27. get out there and photograph them now.  I recently read that SP is replacing
  28. GP9's with GP40's on local trains.
