  26. CN sold its RDCs to VIA Rail in 1978, as did CP.  VIA retired
  27. most of its RDCs following the service cutbacks of Jan. 1990.
  28. RDCs are still used for VIA's Sudbury-White River and Victoria-
  29. Courtenay services.  As of a year ago, VIA had 6 active, 10 stored,
  30. and 51 retired RDCs on the roster.  BC Rail has 12 RDCs which
  31. operate between North Vancouver and Prince George.
