- It isn't a ratio, it depends on your antenna, and it is logarithmic.

- Longwire antennas are not very useful in transmission. Try a dipole instead.
- To make one, take two lengths of wire that are 1/4 of the wavelength, and
- attach one to the centre conductor and one to the outher conductor of a piece
- of coaxial cable. Spread these two wires out horizontally at least 1/2
- wavelength above ground and going in opposite directions. Attach the coaxial
- cable to your tranciever.
