- I wrote a letter to Radio France International some time ago and I got
- a reply recently. I only commented to them that their former frequency
- of 17.695 MHz was better than the present frequency of 15.405 MHz at
- 1400 hrs UTC and asked them about the possiblity of setting up a relay
- station in Singapore since they had problems with the agreement of
- setting up one in Thailand. Their reply to me was in French. Although
- I can't understand French, I can roughly make out what they were
- saying. They were telling me how to send a reception report because I
- saw the 5 columns of SINPO ratings in it. It's not the first time I
- can't get my message across. At another instance, I also told about a
- frequency problem and they sent me a QSL card. It seems my letters
- never get to the English section although I labelled English Service on
- the envelope. They always seem to misunderstand my point. Does anyone
- have this problem or any comments? Thanks. 73's.
