  32. Who owns the radio station (the physical space, the transmitter,
  33. other equipment) ?
  34. Are broadcasting classes given at your university using your station
  35. in an educational context?
  36. Your student government may well have overstepped its legal authority.
  37. I would recommend talking to an attorney (barrister? sorry, I'm not
  38. English) about this, you may have grounds for a lawsuit or a court
  39. order instructing the student government to reopen the facility or
  40. go to jail. 
  41. Is there an instructor connected with the management/operation of
  42. the facility? There are academic freedom questions concerned with this
  43. as well that he might want to bring up at the next Academic Senate
  44. (or British equivalent; I'm talking about whatever organization your
  45. faculty uses to play its part in the governance of the school)
