- travelling...

- 1. Call Icom in CA and ask them to send you the "CI-V
- documentation"...why you don't get it with the radio is a
- mystery to me, but it's all in there (it's also free).

- 2. Look in SIMTEL's <MSDOS.HAMRADIO> directory, there's at least
- one file containing code fragments to help you get started.

- 3. I wasn't very happy with the BASIC program Icom sends you,
- but it does work...more or less. I ended up copying a simple
- interrupt-driven terminal program & making the mods to that
- to send and receive the packets.

- Sorry, but that's all the info I have right now. My radio, all the
- code I wrote and almost everything else I own is in boxes at my
- brother's house for the next four months. I'm in a new job where
- my
- email access is spotty and through a gateway on the other side of
- the country. I have no ftp access here, either.
