- Some years ago I cut and article out of one
- of the Ham magazines on Coaxial Dipole
- construction. I don't remember what magazine,
- and I don't even know what year, but I wish
- to build one of these antennas for 28.4 mHz,
- and I have no idea what dimensions the
- coaxial section should be as opposed to the
- wire ends. The antenna looked something like
- this when completed:
-
-
- Wire Coax Coax Wire
- -----------===============X=============----------
-
- X = Feedpoint with RG-8 Coax.
-
- The part where the wire attached to the coax, the
- coax center conductor and braid were shorted together
- and connected to the wire.
-
-
- Anyway, I could use formulas or actual dimensions
- gathered from articles on such an antenna. Or maybe
- there are users of this antenna whom are familiar
- with its construction.
-
- Any help appreciated
