  12. I'm trying to decide on a lense for my Canon. Since I'm a novice I really
  13. don't know much on the differances between some of the lenses. Can
  14. someone explain the differances between the following lenses. Ability,
  15. cost etc..

  17.     - EF 35-80mm  f/4.5-5.6U
  18.     - EF 35-105mm f/4.5-5.6U zoom lense
  19.     - EF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5U
  20.     - EF 28-80mm  f/3.5-5.6U
  21.     - EF 35-105mm f/3.5-5.6U zoom lense

  23. I know what a zoom lense is but do all of these lenses have zoom capabilities
  24. since they are indicated with a variable size?

  26. Which lense is the best all around general purpose lense or one I should start
  27. with first?

  29. Do these lenses have equivalents in another brand that may be less expensive?
