  13. The only "current" Nikon equivalent to the K-1000 is the
  14. FM-2 which is a wonderful camera but considerable more
  15. expensive. If you are just learning, the K-1000 is
  16. fine. You might consider looking for a used FM-2 or
  17. FM which would save you some $$ an older Nikormat -
  18. I have had several and they just don't seem to die.
