- The only "current" Nikon equivalent to the K-1000 is the
- FM-2 which is a wonderful camera but considerable more
- expensive. If you are just learning, the K-1000 is
- fine. You might consider looking for a used FM-2 or
- FM which would save you some $$ an older Nikormat -
- I have had several and they just don't seem to die.
