- If you really liked the 80-200 f2.8, you should
- strongly consider buying it from your friend.
- The $475 price quoted to you is a great price for a great lens.
- So what if it is a little on the heavy side, you have to pay a
- small penalty for the fast constant aperture. And if you wanted
- to extend the focal range of this lens you could later purchase
- a Nikon teleconverter which would give you 280 mm. or even
- 400 mm. Just my opinion.
