- Check your negatives for a clue. Prints may seem fine, but your printer may
- have compensated. Thin negatives can still be useable( the result of under-
- exposure) as the printer will compensate. Slides are not as tolerant as you
- only get "one kick at the can".

- Also, check your camera, your unit will set the asa from the DX encoding on the
- film can. Basically DX coating is bare metal areas on the can. If the can was
- dirty or your contacts inside the camera were dirty the ASA could have been mis-
- read. If you suspect dirt on any contacts wipe them with a piece of clean paper

- Don't use any cleaner of any kind on electrical contacts, just keep them clean
- and polished.
