  27.    Oh, wow, can I relate to that... :)  I'm only on my second SO since I got
  28. my Sammy, and the first one helped me pick him out, so he was never a problem.
  29. The second one's looking like a keeper, but he didn't like cats at first,
  30. either.  I stood firm, though, even under threats of "it's either me or him", 
  31. and today, he's the one  that feeds Sammy, and he constantly tells him what a 
  32. great cat he is, AND I have him convinced that he wants a cat of his own, to 
  33. keep Sammy company!  He does occasionally still come out every once in a while 
  34. with a joke about making "mauna pua" (I'm not sure of the spelling, it's a pork
  35. dish he ate when he lived in Hawaii) out of Sammy, though.  At least I know 
  36. they're just hollow threats. :)
