- Yes, this can happen--it happened to Domino. When I picked her
- up the first time, the vet told me that they couldn't find one
- of her ovaries, and that it might develop later on, so they
- warned me that she might go into heat again. She did, and I
- had to take her back so they could remove the ovary, about 2-3
- months later.

- Definitely talk to your vet about this. Or if you suspect the
- vet didn't do a proper job the first time, go see a different
- vet.
