- This brings up something that's been bothering me for a while -- what
- is it with cat breeders and these horrible flat faced persians? It breaks
- my heart to see pictures of these animals. Are they doing similar things
- to other breeds? I'm not talking about breeding for color or marking or
- coat length, but rather serious tampering with the basic architectural
- design of the cat. And besides structural issues, are these same folks
- also messing with the very essence of the cat -- its personality?

- I really am interested in what's happening in Cat Fancy circles regarding
- these issues.
