  18. This brings up something that's been bothering me for a while -- what
  19. is it with cat breeders and these horrible flat faced persians? It breaks
  20. my heart to see pictures of these animals. Are they doing similar things
  21. to other breeds?  I'm not talking about breeding for color or marking or
  22. coat length, but rather serious tampering with the basic architectural
  23. design of the cat.  And besides structural issues, are these same folks
  24. also messing with the very essence of the cat -- its personality?
  25.  
  26. I think from my questions, my feelings on this are pretty obvious. But
  27. I really am interested in what's happening in Cat Fancy circles regarding
  28. these issues.
