- Argh I missed the first of this. I am going to TRY not to flame too
- much but your cats DO love you. And it is apparent that you love your
- cats. A selfish cold-hearted bitch, your wife? The mother of your
- children? That's sad.
-
- I have a cat named Steve. I don't want to have kids, I make that very
- clear with people (or the one person) I am serious with. I acknowledge
- the love and responsibility one must have with children and I feel that
- I am one of the few people who is smart enough to know that I cannot
- (yet) provide what a child needs. Steve IS my child -- as close as anything
- can be.
-
- One night I was holding my cat and told my bf "I love Steve more than
- anything in the world." He got upset and said "What about me?" "Well
- you're RIGHT up there dear" said I. (Could be considered bitchy but
- I've known Jeremy for about 7 months tops, Steve has been my "baby"
- for eight years). Jeremy then later mentioned he might be allergic to
- cats. I said "That's too bad I guess we won't ever live together then"
-
- "You'd choose your cat over me?" says he.
-
- "Dont' put it THAT way" says I.
-
- "Well that's what you're saying", says he.
-
- "Well Steve is the closest I see myself coming to having a child. He is
- MY FAMILY (heck my answering machine says Steve and I can't come to the
- phone right now, although it's just as a ruse :)", says I.
-
- Jeremy's quickly decided he's NOT allergic to cats. We're still dating.
- No talk of moving in. You could say I'm uncaring and a bitch for not
- budging about my cat -- but eight years ago when I found my cat starving
- and wet on the streets I promised my parents (I was 13 at the time) and
- myself that I would ALWAYS make sure Steve had a home with me and was takne
- care of. I will CONTINUE to do that. I don't care if Charlie Sheen falls
- madly in love with me and HATES cats. :)
-
- >It can be very hard married to a bitch. Even harder if you love her.
- It's also an emotional rollercoaster to BE one. ;)
