  13. I had this problem last summer when I went on vacation and left my cats home
  14. with someone to come in every day and feed them.  I ended up just spraying
  15. all the surfaces in my house with ammonia (especially the floor boards and
  16. cracks).  The cats wouldn't go near the room where the ammonia had been
  17. sprayed, so I had to find a different spot to feed them for a while.  I 
  18. needed to spray the spots where the ants where coming in two or three
  19. times.  But the little beasts haven't invaded my kitties food since.
