- I had this problem last summer when I went on vacation and left my cats home
- with someone to come in every day and feed them. I ended up just spraying
- all the surfaces in my house with ammonia (especially the floor boards and
- cracks). The cats wouldn't go near the room where the ammonia had been
- sprayed, so I had to find a different spot to feed them for a while. I
- needed to spray the spots where the ants where coming in two or three
- times. But the little beasts haven't invaded my kitties food since.
